Google is hiring a tools engineer for Google Earth. Requirements:

3+ years of development experience.

Excellent Python or C++ programing skills.

Excellent Unix/Linux and shell scripting skills.

Perl and Java a plus.

Excellent communication skills.

BSCS or MSCS.

GIS experience is desirable, but not required.

That should beat the hell out of hacking the app. And shall we start a Google Earth for Linux rumor now, or later?
